“What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That’s not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that’s the burden of a year.”

I hope 2015 is a great year for everyone! I appreciate your support and comments in 2014. I am so thankful for all of you! My only child got married in 2014, and I went back to work as a paralegal, so my blog has been much neglected. I hope to do more posts in 2015. Maybe not every day, but we will work up to that! I have some great new products to share!
That was a very nice poem. I had a good 2014,I started a kettle corn business, I got some chickens, 2 goats and a pig. we have not had to buy any eggs since. We also planted some fruit trees, don’t know if we will have any fruit this year but we are hoping. This year we have started getting our garden area ready for planting ( first time gardener) first time everything, never had chickens , goats or pigs before. in may we are going to butcher the pig and get some meat. we will see how much we get. we are trying to get one of our goat pregnant so I can start milking her. I want to make cheese, butter and anything else we can make with goats milk. Hope you have a bless year.
