Arizona Green Tea Singles

October 16th, 2012

My son, who knows everything because he is a genius, told me that green tea increases your metabolism. Wait, what? So I started buying these Arizona Green Tea Singles to add to my water. And I have lost 100 pounds!!! Okay, I may be exaggerating. I have been losing weight, but I don’t know if I can give these singles all the credit! However, they are refreshing and taste great. If you aren’t good at drinking water, adding a little flavor really helps to make the water disappear quicker.

They also make a Pomegranate Green Tea. I think it tastes pretty much the same as the Green Tea, but it turns your water red instead of brown.

So let’s recap. Water has lots of health benefits. Green tea has lots of health benefits. Ginseng has lots of health benefits. Pomegranate has lots of health benefits. Get the picture?

You can find these at your supermarket. At my store they are stocked with the coffee and tea, as opposed to the flavored singles that are kept with the fruit juices. You can buy the Arizona Green Tea in bottles, but these singles are a lot less money and so dang handy!

Glam Alert: She’s A Tease Volumizing Hairspray

October 11th, 2012

I’m on a kick lately of beauty products under $10. This is a hairspray I picked up a few months ago because it was $5. I’m now on my second bottle, so I think it’s a winner. Let me state, however, that if you like a heavy hairspray, this isn’t the one for you. I like a lighter hair spray. That being said, you still get a firm hold with this spray, and the website says it’s humidity proof, which is a good thing for me, because I live in a very humid climate. Here’s what I do, I roll my hair, then I fluff it out with my head tilted down, and then I spray the heck out of it. Then I walk out of the bathroom and scare my husband. It works every time. My hair all jacked up to the sky, or a face mask always scares him, and gives me a little giggle. After a minute or two when the hair is dry, I just comb it down, or pick around it, depending on how high I want my hair. You know the saying, “the higher the hair, the closer to God”.

She’s a Tease Hairspray is made by a new line (or new to me) named Not Your Mother’s. You can find this and the entire line of products at most major supermarkets or drugstores.

Did I mention it is $5? What is your favorite hairspray? Do you like a more natural hold, or a really firm hold that never moves, no matter how windy it is?
