How about a fancy smancy universal remote control? Logitech Harmony 700 Rechargeable Remote with Color Screen is $82.28 at Amazon with free shipping (and no sales tax), and can program up to six remotes.

Now, if money is no object, you can always get pops the Logitech Harmony 1100, which retails at Amazon for $259.95. Looks like something that would really be a big manly hit, and controls up to 15 devices. I would like to meet the person who has 15 remotes currently in his/her living room. Now because I am as blind as a bat, I would enjoy this big touch screen!

And what manly-man wouldn’t enjoy sporting this cool beer holster?

I’m thinking of “six pack” jokes in my head. . .
My son got my hubby this great watch box from Fossil for Christmas and he loves it. It holds six watches, and also has a handy drawer for other manly things.

If you have a great Father’s Day gift idea, please share in the comments section.

For all the years I have been on the world wide web, I often feel overwhelmed with the technology. But I always tell myself that if a ten year old can figure it out, so can I. There are lots of sources on the internet that give you the ability to learn and understand the technology. One of my favorites is cnet.com. Not only can you get news and reviews of products like computers, cameras, televisions, and printers, but you can also watch cnet tv for how-to videos, review videos, and tech videos.
Another great feature with cnet is their download section. They have hundreds of thousands of downloadable software, many of which are free. I have downloaded freeware many times from their site, and though I have never had a problem with it, I would recommend that you only download something with a high user rating. The download section (which can also be found directly at download.com) also has some great tutorials on downloading software, and other technical help.
cnet.com has so much available information, that before you know it, someone might even think you are a geek!

Enjoy my post title? I try so hard to be clever. This is yet another post for women over 40. All you youngsters need to go send a text or something. I really shouldn’t say just women either, because I think men like to take care of their skin too. ROC is a drugstore brand of beauty creams that work just as good as those expensive products. Last week I gave you one of those expensive products, Genifique, and told you it was not a wrinkle remover. Today I’m giving you two great products that will diminish those wrinkles.
ROC Retinol correxion deep wrinkle cream is an intense anti-wrinkle cream that will help diminish wrinkles while also giving you a great moisturizer. Retinoid products can still be found in prescription strength, but are very potent. Years ago my dermatologist prescribed Retin-A. I hated it. All I did was peel. I remember telling him that and he seemed to think the peeling was worth it because I wouldn’t wrinkle, but it wasn’t worth it to me. Fast-forward about 15 years and I started getting some real old lady wrinkles. Retinol helps reduce the wrinkles without the constant peeling. Most product information will tell you to start out slow and not use every night because if you do you will see peeling. Of course, you could always use every night for 12 weeks and at the end of it look 20 again!
Ok, back to ROC. ROC is the cheapest Retinol cream I have found. The deep wrinkle cream shown above is $21.00.As you can see from the graphic above, it has been named as an Editor’s Choice product by Allure Magazine.
I also love ROC Retinol correxion eye cream, which will reduce the crow’s feet around your eyes and improve elasticity.
The eye cream also runs about $21.00. Both of these products come in small tubes but a little dab’ll do you. I’ve had both of mine for over a year and still have plenty left. Now, if you know me at all you know I don’t use the same products every night. It takes a village. Instead of putting all my magic potions on at once, I mix it up.
If you have used a Retinol cream, please leave me a comment and tell me what you use and your results. And if you know of any miracle products, please share. As soon as you do I’ll rush out and add to my arsenal!

Did you see on the news the story of a man who was on vacation and caught someone in his house from an iPhone app? It is so easy now to install wireless surveillance cameras inside and outside of your home, and you can monitor the cameras from anywhere, even your cell phone! X10 is a great site for all sorts of manly man stuff: security cameras, security systems, nanny cams, etc. All so easy to install your man can do it yourself. The website has pop ups that you can call and speak to a representative and get a lower price. Trust me I did it and it worked!
So if you are looking for security, or another great father’s day gift idea, I hope you check this site out.
