If you are familiar with Wikipedia you should already have this app on your smart phone. If not, download this free app. It allows you to use Wikipedia without having to open your browser first. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia written largely by anonymous volunteers. Some would argue that the information contained in Wikipedia may or may not be exactly accurate. For those of us who know no better, it appears to be a great, quick resource for information to outsmart your friends or family when you are having those deep discussions about life, science, geography, movies, books, etc., etc., etc.

The app allows you to bookmark articles for later reference or to read more thoroughly. If you forget to bookmark, no worries, because it keeps a history of items you have looked up until your clear it.

Don’t leave home without it. You may find yourself in a bar having a great debate with someone and you will surely come out more informed with this app. Wonder how the old people like me will ever explain to the kids who have always grown up with instant access to information how we used to have to go to a library and research for hours to find an answer that it accessible now within seconds? Gosh, I sound older and older by the second. . .
