I have used Goo Gone for decades. If you purchase anything that has a pesky price sticker on it that you want to remove without scratching the surface of the item, this is a little miracle worker! I have to be honest and tell you that I really only use it for stickers and tape, but it has a lot of other uses!
From Goo Gone:
Goo Gone Spray Gel is safe to use on virtually any surface!
Goo Gone removes sticky, gummy, greasy, gooey problems such as:
- gum
- adhesive residue
- grease
- tar
- tree sap
- candle wax
- crayon
- make up
- shoe polish
- And more!
Goo Gone removes sticky, gummy, greasy, gooey problems from surfaces like:
- plastic
- metal
- glass
- wood
- ceramic
- carpet
- clothing
- upholstery
- furniture
- automobiles
- boats
- appliances
- painted walls
- concrete
- And more!
So if you have never tried it, you need to have it among your arsenal of cleaning items!
Yes you are correct. But W40 will do the same thing. My Handyman told me that and I tried it. It works!
By the way I get rid of candle wax on my candle sticks by poring boiling water over it.
You have a nice blog. I came across your blog because of the vitamin C serum.
I will definitely follow the instructions. Thanks

Good to know Dagi! I’m going to break out the WD-40 this weekend and give it a try! Thanks for finding the blog and your kind words.
