The website was started in 1999 by a teacher who wanted to create a site that provided great resources for children to learn to use the internet safely and cover a wide variety of topics that children would use to aid in their homework and curriculum areas taught in schools.

It’s a great site to bookmark to have handy for your kids when they need help or resources with their reading, writing, and arithmetic! It is also a great resource for science, social studies, geography, music, art, and even fun and games.
