Years and years and eons ago, I used a dry shampoo called Psssssst. Or Pssssssssst. Or Psst. You get the idea. Here’s a horrible memory. For those of you who are old like me. Remember when as a child if you were sick your mother believed that you should not shower because that would make you sicker? Please tell me my mother wasn’t the only one? So as a teenager she would still make me go to school, with my greasy hair until a friend told me about dry shampoo. It came in an aerosol can and usually left a chalky residue. It wasn’t the best.

Oh look! I actually found it on line. They still make it. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF. Today’s entry is all about Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo comes in aerosol and powder form. Because of my previous bad experience with aerosol, I purchased the powder form. Let me tell you, a little goes a long way. I absolutely love it for the days when I don’t shampoo my hair. I still bathe, I have issues. See above.
I also use it when I just want to give my hair a little oomph. Like say I’m going out after work, because I do that, you know, go out. Occasionally. The Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo is perfect for that also. It doesn’t leave any trace of the powder behind while adding volume back to your hair.
Do you ever use a dry shampoo? Do you have mother issues? Leave me a comment!

freshfinds.com is a great site for an assortment of gift ideas. I am always looking for gift ideas. Not just to share with you, but to actually use to buy gifts!
Here is a handy spill stopper so your pots don’t boil over anymore. Of course, I recently read if you place a wooden spoon over the pot it won’t boil over either. So this or a wooden spoon. . .

Ok, this is something you will really use. Also great to give as a gift. I always keep one in my purse so don’t mess with me:

Cute welcome mats for front door or, in my case, steps and front door. I have never seen this before!

Here’s something else that is a clever idea. Ice cube sticks for bottled water. Genius!

Lots of “as seen on TV” items too. I could spend all day posting pictures of clever items for you, but I’m just going to let you check out the site yourself.

I am in love with these iPhone covers from switcheasy.com. The one above is called Blossom, and comes in multiple colors.

The next one is called Clockwork. Black seems to show the most detail – but it also comes in several color selections:

Chateau is also fabulous:

Reptile:

There are many more styles to choose from. Just giving you enough to entice you to check out the site!
Oh, and they also carry iPad covers.
The one below is called Thins. Also multiple colors to choose from in iPad covers.

Reptile for iPad too:
I used to have the blinged out covers, but they were scratching my car dash and coffee tables, so I switched to the plastic or silicone styles and have been much happier. Are you a bling or a blam?

This is one of my most used apps. If you haven’t heard of it before, you need to get it. Around Me can locate nearby points of interest, such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, theaters, etc. It also has a search feature to allow you to locate a business by name. I use it a lot when I am out of town, or in an area I am not familiar with.
Now, for those of you who have Siri, this app is probably not something you need. But for those of us waiting on the next iPhone, this is quite useful.
