Labor Day signifies the end of summer to most. But it was established to celebrate the American workers.
HOW DO YOU TACKLE YOUR WORK?
~ Edgar Guest
How do you tackle your work each day?
Are you scared of the job you find?
Do you grapple the task that comes your way
With a confident, easy mind?
Do you stand right up to the work ahead
Or fearfully pause to view it?
Do you start to toil with a sense of dread
Or feel that you’re going to do it?
You can do as much as you think you can,
But you’ll never accomplish more;
If you’re afraid of yourself, young man,
There’s little for you in store.
For failure comes from the inside first,
It’s there if we only knew it,
And you can win, though you face the worst,
If you feel that you’re going to do it.
Success! It’s found in the soul of you,
And not in the realm of luck!
The world will furnish the work to do,
But you must provide the pluck.
You can do whatever you think you can,
It’s all in the way you view it.
It’s all in the start that you make, young man:
You must feel that you’re going to do it.
How do you tackle your work each day?
With confidence clear, or dread?
What to yourself do you stop and say
When a new task lies ahead?
What is the thought that is in your mind?
Is fear ever running through it?
If so, just tackle the next you find
By thinking you’re going to do it.

This HUGE bottle of conditioner caught my eye recently on an end cap at Walmart for $2.88. Sorry, my photo example shows 32 ounces, and I guess they have now sized down to 28 ounces. Nonetheless, I got 28 ounces of conditioner for $2.88. That’s like ten cents an ounce, right?
As you know I switch around with my shampoos and conditioners, because my hairdresser told me years ago that your hair gets used to the same stuff. Same with hair styling products. So I keep the shower stocked with four or five shampoos and conditioners. My husband loves looking for his one bottle amongst all of mine!
So, for the price, I figured I would try it. After all, I love the Suave Keratin Leave-In Conditioner, which was the first Suave product I think I have ever tried.
Well, the Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter Moisturizing Conditioner is also a winner. It smells divine, and hopefully moisturizes too!
From Suave:
Salon proven to moisturize as well as Aveda® Dry Remedy®*
Moisturizing shampoo is infused with 100% natural almond and shea butter, which are known for their rich emollients. It replenishes as it cleanses leaving your hair well-nourished and beautiful.

Depending on what your hair issues are, I would definitely recommend trying this line.

I love discovering new shops on etsy.com and sharing with you. Today will be a few random shops instead of something of a theme, like I usually do.
For all you college and/or football fans out there, these adorable tshirts from Sew Snazzy by Brook are $32, and much cuter than the mass produced tshirts. Oh, and they do custom orders too!
Little Baby Bumblebee sells monthly stickers to apply to baby clothing to document the monthly milestones of the baby’s first year! Love this idea, and for $9, everyone can do it! Here are some different styles:
The Crafty EngineerX sells adorable painted Mason Jars for a price that I don’t think you could do yourself, unless you already had the Mason jars, and paint.
And finally, I love, love, LOVE the custom made jewelry pieces from Surfing Silver. They take your loved one’s handwriting, fingerprint, or drawing, and put it into a beautiful jewelry piece.
