The month has come to an end, and so has our super fun special on photo editing! Last up is Photomarkr. An easy to use app that allows you to watermark your photos.

From the developer:
PhotoMarkr lets you add your personal watermark to your iPhone and iPod touch photos and screenshots.
This is a great tool for all photographers who like posting their work online. Just set it up once, and then apply your watermark to any photo with the click of a button.
Features:
– Create a watermark from text, or import a custom watermark as an image
– Position watermark anywhere on your photo
– Move, rotate and resize your watermark
– Change watermark transparency
PhotoMarkr always saves a full-res original, and a full-res copy of your photo with the watermark applied.

So whether you want to watermark your photos for copyright purposes, or just to watermark the date or location, PhotoMarkr is the app for you.
I hope you have enjoyed this series. Maybe I’ll do more if you like month long series!

I love shrimp. I love artichokes. I love Paula Deen. This is my last dip recipe for the month, I promise! I was looking earlier for super bowl recipes and found all these yummy ones so I decided to share them throughout the month. They were all a big hit at my house!
Paula Deen Shrimp and Artichoke Dip
1 13 3/4-ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
dash pepper
dash salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup sherry
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 lb shrimp, cleaned, peeled, and deveined
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms
3/4 cup grated Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese (combined)
Paprika to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Blend in flour to make a paste. Add half-and-half all at once, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. Add Parmesan cheese, sherry, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Temper egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of hot mixture and add back to remaining cheese sauce. Set aside. Mix artichoke hearts, shrimp, and mushrooms together. Put in baking dish and pour sauce over top. Sprinkle top with grated cheese and paprika. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.

I recently met one of my friends for lunch and when I arrived, the first thing she said was “what lipstick are you wearing? I love it”. I pulled out my Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle to show her, and she in turn pulled the same one out of her purse – in the same shade! She said she had been meaning to tell me about it so I could blog about it! Which, of course, reminded me I should blog about it.

There are lots of colors to choose from. My favorite is Pink Truffle. It sounds really pink but it’s more neutral. Picture below.

The main reason I love this line is because I have skinny lips. The lipstick is slanted, so I can use on my little skinny lips and the shape doesn’t get messed up. If I start with a flat lipstick, it ends up sort of looking a little obscene after a while, and I eventually have to break off the tip and just start over! That being said, I also love how moisturizing this lipstick is, and that it lasts a long time. Like hours!
From Revlon:
– Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%
– Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth
– Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine
– Available in 20 luscious shades
I always have to have something on my lips, whether it is chapstick, lip gloss, balm, or lipstick! And the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter is a keeper!

Whether you are a man or a woman, if you love to smell good, you have to check out fragrancenet.com. And if you don’t like to smell good, I bet there are support groups for you.
I love perfume. I am not one to keep a ton of bottles around because I understand the fragrance breaks down after a few years. So I keep two or three around, and I am always looking for fresh new scents. I love more of a clean, fresh scent. I would never encourage you to purchase a scent on line if you haven’t tried it in the store first. Scents always smell differently, depending on your own body chemistry. My poor mother had to spray her clothing with perfume because she had the kind of chemistry that no matter what she put on smelled like B.O. Poor Thing. I still remember her spraying in front of her and then walking through the perfume.
And I would always encourage you to try a fragrance for at least ten minutes before purchasing. I have sadly made the mistake more than I would like to count of thinking I loved something, and then hating it later. So now I do a time test. I spray, walk around the mall for thirty minutes, and 1) if I can still smell it; and 2) it still smells good, then it is the one for me. I’ve also learned the hard way that some scents just don’t last.
Now, all that being said, you can get really good brand name perfume at fragrancenet.com for a fraction of what you would pay at a beauty store or department store. AND fragrancenet.com is on Ebates, AND there is always a coupon code to be found. So let’s recap in case you aren’t paying attention:
- Cheaper to buy at fragrancenet.com than department stores;
- Money back if you sign up for Ebates*; and
- Always look for a coupon code.
Fragrancenet.com has every brand I have ever needed, whether for myself, for my husband, or for a gift. They usually have free shipping over $70, and right now on the site there is 20% off any order.
What is your favorite perfume/cologne right now? Leave me a comment and let me know.
*if you still don’t know about Ebates, please use the search bar in the top right hand corner of my page and search “Ebates“.
