I am gearing up for the first of two times I REALLY am in the kitchen cooking. Not microwaving, or unpacking take-out, or making a bowl of cereal, but really putting my great culinary skills to work. I first had to figure out how I could get my Word documents transferred to my iPad, so I wouldn’t have to print a recipe each time I wanted to make it. I found this great video on youtube, followed the instructions, and viola! I can view all my documents, including my massive amount of recipes that I have smartly categorized for years in Word on my computer. No more wasted paper. Plus an added benefit is that I can easily access all my favorite cooking apps and websites straight from the iPad now in the kitchen. I am so clever.

Next I needed a stand to put my iPad on so I could easily look at my recipes on the iPad. The Kitchen iPad Stand is just perfect for that, and it’s under $30. It makes a great gift for yourself or for the cook on your gift list. You can use it as a stand or mount it under your cabinet. You can even order an Extra Mount for $9, so that you can use it at the stove AND at the sink. Neat!
