I’m a big MUG fan! I’ve been watching Marlena for nearly 5 years now! Cool! I love her. She lives in Sacramento now and I live in what she used to call her home town of Vacaville (which is about 30 minutes from Sac). I’m always secretly hoping I run into her some place. Hasn’t happened though. When we were getting ready to move to Northern Ca back in 2008, I actually sent her an email asking for places to get hair and nails done in the Sacramento area. She was very helpful and sweet. She’s big-time now though. Anyways… it’s fun to see that you love her too 🙂

I do love her! I actually was set to do a skype consult with her in March but something came up and I had to cancel. Not sure if she is still doing the one-on-one consultations but was so excited to get to “meet” her and be able to talk to her one-on-one. Then she went to Paris to study, and has been really busy since she got back so I don’t think she’s set them up again. I follow her on twitter too. Now I sound like a stalker don’t I? Such a small world! Have you tried any of her products? I really love her line of eyeshadows, they are very pigmented, and around $5 each. I like giving her business because I’ve watched her turn herself into a brand and it’s been fun to see her so successful! I hope you do run into her some day!

I haven’t tried any of her products yet. I have literally HUNDREDS of cosmetic products that don’t see the light of day anymore, so I can’t justify those purchases as much anymore. Mainly because I don’t spend the time that I used to spend making myself up (special thanks to my 3 year old and 4 year old!) and i have finally settled on a favorite routine/products to get me through busy mornings. I follow her on Twitter too! So we both stalk her! Ha! Do you watch/follow MakeupByTiffanyD? I started watching her at the same time I started watching Marlena. Love her too.

She comes across a bit different than Marlena; Marlena always is so genuine, humble, and very sweet. I like Tiffany partly because I started watching her from the very beginning, but also her makeup styles are a little more “every day” and wearable and her clothing style is more up my ally too… you know, if I had her body and stuff… :0/
