Ok peeps (insert Easter humor here). I have played with several apps for evaluation purposes to find you two fun apps that you can play by yourself or with small children. Or me. I am like a small child sometimes. Especially when I get around fun games.
Easter Egg Painter is a fun free app where you can choose any color or size brush to paint a realistic Easter egg. You have the ability to paint anything you want whether it is a small sketch, a creative design, or even egg people! When you are finished you can take a screenshot of the egg and send it to family and friends. I think this app is also great in helping children see how changing certain colors make others – you know, like yellow and blue make green.
Easter Find the Difference App is a fun app where you find the differences between the two pictures. I have to tell you it is a smidge challenging for me. It offers the first two scenes free, then you have to purchase the remaining ten scenes. Here’s a little tip peeps, just play with the first two free ones. This should entertain you enough through Easter, AND the differences change every time you go back to them. It took me a while to find all the differences, so please do not tell me how easy this was for you! Especially if you are under the age of ten.
Easter Puzzle Free by Christopher Kalu was easy enough for me to put together, so I would venture to say a three year old could probably do as good as me. Love puzzles, and love Easter.
Happy Easter!

I love crock pot recipes. Especially the ones where I don’t have to do too much prep work. And who doesn’t love chicken pot pie? Here’s a yummy version you can make in the crock pot.
Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie (from mytexastoday.com)
3 – 4 large boneless chicken breast – chopped into one inch cubes
3/4 cup white wine – any kind you have or whatever is cheap at the store
2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 cans chicken broth
3 cloves garlic – minced
2 lg. carrots – chopped
3 celery stalks – chopped
2 lg. shallots – chopped
2 Tbs. fresh parsley – chopped
1 10.2 oz can Pillsbury Grands Original Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
- Chop all vegetables – carrots, celery, garlic and shallots.
- Chop chicken breast into 1” cubes.
- Whisk together wine, flour, whipping cream and chicken broth.
- Place chicken and vegetables in crock pot.
- Pour whisked liquid over chicken and vegetables.
- Give it a good stir and salt/pepper to taste.
- Set crock pot on low to cook for 6 – 7 hours or on high for 4 – 5 hours.
- 30 min before finished set oven at 350 degrees to cook biscuits.
- While biscuits are baking, fold chopped parsley into chicken mixture.
Serve in bowls with biscuit. Serves 4

Ladies, RUN, don’t walk, to QVC and order Mally Instant Impact Mascara Duo. The item number is A230563. I would give you a direct link but I sent it to a friend to test the link and it doesn’t work. I don’t want you to miss out on this stuff so just search “Mally Instant Impact Mascara Duo”. Double check the item number and order. I received this mascara as part of a set from Mally a few months ago and have been checking constantly to see when it would come out by itself. Years ago my favorite mascara was Mally, and I even gave it as a gift to some of my friends because I loved it so much. Then they changed the formula and I fell out of love with it. Now comes this new Instant Impact Mascara and it is EVERYTHING. Want to know how great it is? Me, the gal who uses 4-5 different mascaras at one time now only uses this along with the Cover Girl Lashblast Clump Crusher, and I really just use that as a primer. I don’t know if it is the specially cut lash brush that is doing the trick, or the mascara formula, or a combination, but my eyelashes have never been longer or fuller. There is no flaking, and one coat really does the trick. I quadruple love this stuff and could not wait to tell you all about it.
The Mally brand is also sold at Sephora and beauty.com, but I do not find this particular mascara on their sites yet. Sometimes QVC gets the exclusive rights to a product for a period of time, and I think that may be the case here. So while it may show up at other stores later, it appears QVC is the only place to get it for now.
Let me know if you order it what you think of it!
